Position Overview
Job Responsibilities:
- Read job specifications to determine machine and material setup requirements.
- Start up and shut down equipment
- Observe machine operation to detect defects or malfunction; make necessary adjustments to ensure product is in spec.
- Perform minor machine maintenance and work with engineering on major maintenance
- Meet or exceed job requirements for set-up times, run speed, and waste minimization
- Maintain clean and organized work area
- Ensure Pouch Inspectors are accurately and effectively inspecting final product for proper specifications
- Communicate shift updates to Plant Manager and perform proper shift handoff to operators and inspectors
Skills and Requirements:
- Basic math; must be able to read a ruler
- High level of accuracy

- Team-player with ability to receive constructive feedback
- Effectively communicate with coworkers, supervisors, and managers
